NORWAY

Many medal presentations has been held in local UN-Veteran Associations in Norway.

Bergen and Hordaland UN-Veteran Associations, which is the "mother" for these two UN medals held a very special presentation in the very nice halls in a bank named "Den Norske Bank" in Bergen.

About 75 UN-Veterans received - The International Peace Prize Medal 1988 - and the presentation were made by the chief of a new command "Soervest" Major General Mr. Sverre Overland, assisted by the ret. Colonel Mr. Vigar Aabrek.
